Preparation of Previously Treated or Coated Areas
Before applying VenSeal Ultra WB over previously treated substrates, it’s crucial to clean the areas by pressure cleaning. This ensures a contamination-free surface, promoting proper adhesion of the sealer and preventing issues from previous treatments or coatings.
How to Apply VenSeal Ultra WB
Follow these steps for optimal application:
Surface Preparation:
Ensure the surface is dry and free from contaminants. Moss or algae growth should be treated with a biocide after grit blasting. Allow the surface to stand for at least 24 hours before applying VenSeal Ultra WB, adhering to recommended recoat times.
Mixing:
Use VenSeal Ultra WB straight from the container without dilution.
Placing:
Apply the product using a low-pressure sprayer. Remove excess material with a broom or microfibre mop, ensuring an even coating. Avoid contact with surrounding areas.
Note: Do not apply VenSeal Ultra WB over substrates previously treated with curing compounds, PVA concrete bonding agents, or acrylic coatings. Mechanically clean these areas before application.
