What quantities come in a Box?

Pieces per Box, different for each Collection: 

  • Dry Stack Bodies = 0.6m2 | Corners = 1L/m  
  • Ledgestone = 0.6m2 
  • Arctic Bodies = Sold per 0.25m2 | Corners 2L/m per Box 
  • Coastal Bodies = Sold Per 0.3m2 | Corners 1.2L/m per Box 

Corner pieces per Box: 

  • Dry Stack Corners = 5-8 Stones
  • Arctic Corners = 8 Stones
  • Coastal Corners = 5-7 Stones

 

Do you order your product from Overseas?

No, we are a Manufacturing company based in Appin NSW Australia. 

 

Can you install onto Hebel?

You can, but you must use Veneer Stone SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT product. Contact us for more information. 

 

Is there a minimum Order Amount?

No there is no Minimum Order for our Standard Veneer Stone Product. Samples are available for review purposes, but all Products must be ordered by the Box. 

 

How much is in a full pallet?

Dry Stack Bodies = 21.6m2 | Corners = 40L/m  

Ledgestone = 21.6m2 

Arctic Bodies = 17m2 | Corners = 60L/m  

Coastal Bodies = 18m2 | Corners = 48L/m 

 

What Glue do I need to use to install your product?

Any premium outdoor tile Adhesives like KERAQUICK MAXI S1 (MAPEI), LATICRETE 335 or MVIS, ARDEX’s X17 or X18, Davco Evo SMP adhesives offer flexibility and strong bonding. For further details contact the glue supplier or Veneer Stone. 

 

Does the stone need to be sealed?

This is personal preference. We recommend sealing the product for high foot traffic areas or constant wet areas. Sealing the stone will assist with ensuring the longevity of the stone. 

 

Can I install around our Pool?

Yes, however we do recommend sealing the product if it is in a high wet area. 

 

Does sealer change the colour of the product?

No, our sealer does not (VenSeal Ultra WB), however we cannot guarantee this if you use another brand sealer, we recommend you do a test piece first. Tintable sealers are also available if you want to adjust the colour. 

 

Where do you Ship to?

We can arrange Shipping Worldwide as we use a Third-Party Freight company, or you can also arrange your own freight. 

Our stock is located in warehouses in Appin NSW, Darra QLD, Dandenong VIC, and Mount Barker SA. 

 

What do I install the product onto?

We recommend installing Directly onto Brick or Block work. 

We also recommend installing onto James Hardie Easy Lap 9mm or 9-15mm Fibro Cement Sheeting. Installing onto fibro cement sheeting is possible but you must follow the manufacturers strict guidelines that are available from Veneer Stone. 

 

Is it easy to cut your stone?

Yes, you can cut our product. We recommend cutting the stone with a diamond blade brick saw, handheld grinder with a masonry diamond blade, dustless tile saw or wet saw. Please ensure the correct PPE is always used when cutting stone. 

 

If you cut the stone, is the colouring all the way through the Product?

Colouring is all the way through the Product. As an example, if you cut a Natural Grey product, the Natural Grey colour will show the whole way through. 

 

Do you have to install the product on the Mesh net backing?

No, you do not have to install it like that, we recommend pulling it apart and free form Installing it. 

 

Can I install around a Fireplace?

Yes, it needs to be a minimum 20cm away from a Naked flame and we also recommend sealing the Product. Some sealants are flammable in liquid form but are not flammable once applied and dried. Please ensure that you follow the manufacturers instructions when sealing the stone. 

 

Can you install onto Plasterboard or Gyprock?

NO!  Definitely not as they will not support the weight of the stone. As a replacement for plasterboard you can install onto thick strong compressed fibro cement sheeting. Ensure the installation of fibro cement sheeting follows the manufacturers specifications. 

 

Can you install direct onto brick?

Yes, when the brick wall is flush (flat), i.e. mortar or voids between bricks need to be rendered or filled to ensure a flush surface. 

 

How much does your stone Weigh per m2?

This Varies with each collection:

Dry Stack = Approx. 48.5kgs
Ledgestone = Approx. 46kgs
Arctic = Approx. 45kgs
Coastal = Approx. 55kgs

Weights vary due to the varying thicknesses of the stone. 

  

What is the Thickness of the Products?

This Varies with each collection: 

Dry Stack = Approx. 20-45mm
Ledgestone = Approx. 20-30mm
Arctic = Approx. 20-30mm
Coastal = Approx. 35-55mm
Capping = Approx. 35-45mm 

 

Can your product be used on curved walls?

Yes, it can as a special order subject to job specifications. Our Dry Stack collection can be custom made up to 300mm radius.
